10 Content Ideas for When You Don’t Know What To Post

I get it, sometimes inspiration just doesn’t come. Planning content can be a bit of a struggle, especially when we’re spending all our time in the business, not seeing it from the outside. One of the most common mistakes I see wedding business owners make with their social content is not thinking their job is interesting enough for other people. But I totally disagree! The things that you think are second nature are fascinating to your couples!

So with that in mind, here’s 10 content ideas for your next posts…

1 – Talk about a venue where you’re a Recommended Supplier (or would like to be)

2 – Look in your diary, what fun things are coming up that express your personality and passions?

3 – Share a testimonial – they’re gold dust!

4 – Write down all the things you tell your couples in a consultation about your services, then turn them into a question. For example “A two tier cake feeds 60 people” becomes “How many people does a two tier cake feed?”

5 – Share images of someone else’s work that you love. If you’ve worked on a styled shoot where the flowers were amazing (and you weren’t the florist), then shout about it, remembering to tag all the other suppliers too.

6 – Describe one of your services

7 – Tell your audience 3 things about you – try your favourite book/film/TV show, or somewhere you love going on holiday, or how you spend your non-wedding weekends

8 – Look back through your blogs, what can you copy & paste as a simple, ready to go, social post?
9 – Tell your audience something they need to know before they book you – what makes you unique?

10 –Give your number one piece of advice when planning a wedding – mine would be to prioritise!

I hope that’s helped you and if you’d like to chat more about content ideas for your wedding business, then book in a consultation! I’d love to work with you!
